This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. The site collects very little, so the notice is short.
Who we are
AS Oxygen is a brand of AlwaysSmile MedTech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the controller of the personal data described here, registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under reference ZC279879. What we collect and why
When you request a proposal or write to us. Your name, email address and message, and, if you give them, your company or venue, phone number, country, type of venue and the chamber you are interested in. We use them to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal and follow up on it. Our legal basis is to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
To keep the form free of spam. When the form is used, our server keeps a scrambled (hashed) code made from your IP address instead of the address itself, together with the time, to limit repeated submissions and to recognise duplicate messages. These codes are deleted automatically within two days. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure.
When you visit the site. Like every website, our hosting provider’s servers record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not use your details for marketing without asking you first, we do not sell them, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies or similar technologies, no analytics and no advertising tools. It loads nothing from other companies’ servers: fonts, images and videos come from our own.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting provider, Hostinger, which runs this website on servers in the United Kingdom.
- Our email service provider, which receives and stores the messages sent through the form. We use providers with servers in the United Kingdom or the European Union.
- The people in our company who handle your enquiry.
- Our partners in the European Union, if your project involves them (for example for delivery or installation), and then only the details they need.
The UK recognises the European Union as giving personal data adequate protection. If we ever need to transfer your data outside the UK and the EU, we will update this notice first and put appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and our correspondence: up to two years after our last contact. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for the contract and for our legal and tax obligations for as long as the law requires.
- Spam protection codes: up to two days.
- Server logs: for a limited period set by our hosting provider, for security.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, and EU law where it applies to you, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or complete it;
- delete it;
- restrict how we use it, or stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interests;
- give it to you, or to another organisation, in a common electronic format.
Write to us to use any of these rights; we reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or, if you live in the EU, to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the form is protected against automated misuse, and only the people who need it can read your enquiry.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website or the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
